Research Focus
Long-term commitment to the establishment and optimization of virus infection and pathogenesis models, interaction between viruses and hosts, and antiviral drug screening.
Established a highly efficient HBV infection cell model for virus infection and antiviral drug screening and evaluation. Discovered that TRIM56 mediated by interferon inhibits HBV replication by ubiquitinating the NF-κB pathway to suppress HBV core promoter activity.
Investigated the effects of HBV S gene mutations on virus infection, replication, and secretion, revealing new mechanisms of virus evasion from the host.
First to discover that components of breast milk (lactoferrin, mucin 1, etc.) have significant anti-SARS-CoV-2 effects and collaborated to find that traditional Chinese medicine components inhibit SARS-CoV-2 infection by blocking its receptor binding, providing a basis for subsequent drug development.
Published 31 SCI papers, with articles in journals such as J Hepatol, Signal Transduct Target Ther, Stem Cell Rep, and Antivir Res.
Achievements include the Second Prize of the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award (5/11), the First Prize of the Peking University Youth Post Master/Excellent Teaching Achievement Award (2/8) in 2021, Outstanding Class Advisor of Peking University in 2022, Outstanding Graduate of Beijing Municipality, Outstanding Graduate of Peking University, and Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation of Peking University in 2017.
